About Komarok and Kenya

The Komarok community is cosmopolitan. Residents come from mixed background of diverse cultural up bringing, i.e. most of the Kenyan tribes which include the Kikuyu, Kamba ,Luhya, Luo Somali and refugees from Sudan who blend the Kenyan diverse rich culture.

Komarok is a residential Area, houses built for the middle income earners.

It is a very quiet and clean environment with good security and enough supply of water. The estate is divided into courts and each court has its own main entrance, at every entrance there are security guards who man the gates. Our school is in Phase 3B.

Many children in the school come from Komarock and  the nearby neighborhood Kayole,

WHAT YOU SEE WHILE YOU ARE IN KOMAROK - Some impressions.

Grocers along and second hand cloth sellers besides the road.

Occasionally you meet cart pullers who use these carts to provide transport of goods at a fee.

One gets to see maize and meat roasters besides the road. Not to mention MATATU (vans) that transport people to town and back. People are friendly, if you are not used to being greeted, expect plenty of greetings and handshakes.
